Photo-Me Ireland, is the sole approved digital photo provider to the Department of Foreign Affairs who are compliant with the Online Passport Renewal Service. This revolutionary photo booth allows customers to instantly receive a unique passport code permitting them to access their photo ID and attach it to the online form for passport renewal.
The Smart Group partnered with Photo-Me Ireland to create a brand awareness campaign that will promote their Online Passport Renewal Service. The campaign was executed in their flagship store in Tallaght, South Dublin.

The objective of the campaign was to improve the relationship with customers and increase brand awareness at an in-store level. The branding consisted of photo booth signage, marketing collateral, local door drops, instore radio ads, social media and website design. The Smart Group team carried out a site survey by speaking with customers and analysing the photo booth environment to determine the branding opportunities. Once approved by Photo-Me Ireland our creative team got to work on the concept, design, and execution.
The campaign resulted in an uplift in sales by 38% and enhanced brand recognition in-store. In turn, Photo-Me Ireland decided to run the campaign in additional sites which has proved positive.
The Smart Group have since collaborated with Photo-Me Ireland on many projects, the award-winning national ‘What’s Under the Duvet’ campaign for Tesco Ireland and have assisted in the ‘Circle of Life’ pitch for the Topaz €1m partnership.
